The Oracle Sisters are an indie rock band hailing from Paris, France. Comprised of Lewis Lazar, Christopher Willatt, and Julia Johansen, the trio brings together a diverse range of musical backgrounds and influences to create a unique and captivating sound. At The Anthem in DC the Oracle Sisters were joined by two talented artists from New York on bass and the keys.


With their lush harmonies, introspective lyrics, and infectious melodies, the Oracle Sisters have quickly garnered attention and praise from both critics and fans alike. Oh the night of June 5th, 2023 Oracle Sisters had the privilege of opening for the talented Declan McKenna at The Anthem in Washington DC on the vibrant waterfront of The Wharf. The anticipation was high as the crowd gathered to witness this dynamic musical pairing. With their mesmerizing sound and charismatic stage presence, the Oracle Sisters set the stage ablaze, delivering an unforgettable performance that left the audience yearning for more. As the evening unfolded, the synergy between the two acts created an electrifying atmosphere, solidifying the Oracle Sisters' place as a rising force in the music industry.

Despite facing a setback with their tour bus breaking down in Baltimore, MD, the band persevered and managed to provide the audience with an intimate glimpse into their performance. The soundcheck, usually reserved behind closed doors, took place right after the doors opened, offering a unique behind-the-scenes experience for the eager crowd. From the very first note, the Oracle Sisters commanded the stage with an electrifying presence, their performance beginning strong and setting the tone for an unforgettable musical journey. However, their second song took an unexpected turn when an audience member named Marissa fainted. The band immediately halted the show, displaying genuine concern for her well-being. After ensuring Marissa was alright, they dedicated the next song to her and promised to check on her after their set, demonstrating their empathy and compassion. Unfazed by the incident, the Oracle Sisters seamlessly carried on with their performance, exuding a remarkable level of professionalism and unwavering stage presence. With their captivating performance and lovable personalities, the Oracle Sisters charmed the audience, leaving a lasting impression. This up-and-coming band proved to be truly memorable, not only for their musical talent but also for their genuine and caring nature.
